  1. The top painting on top was a success if only for the depth that I got by painting the trees behind the wet bushes. I'm usually too impatient to wait for the paint to dry before putting a hard edge next to it. If only I hadn't stuck the mountain right smack in the center behind a perfectly centered tree. The bottom painting came out much better overall. I used Sap Green for the trees and foreground branches at the top. Has more classic look.

  2. I really like your bottom , painting! The perspective and the path make it inviting, and the foreground elements make beautiful details.
